Klinosan® is a disinfectant with a wide spectrum of action:
- bactericidal against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus spp., Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp.);
- fungicidal, acting on fungal spores (Aspergillus spp., Fusarium spp., Penicillium spp.,);
- virulicidal against DNA- and RNA-viruses (Coronavirus, Parvovirus, Ronavirus, Enterovirus);
- coccidiostatic action on pathogens of protozoal infections and coccidiosis;
- insecticidal and lavrocidal actions on insects – flies, bloodsuckers, ticks, etc.
Klinosan® absorbs moisture in places of application, absorbs odors of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, methane and other harmful emissions and gases, has repellent
properties – repels adult insects and destroys the fly larvae. Copper sulfate contained in Klinosan® prevents the occurrence and development of aspergillosis. Absorbent components of the preparation also absorb odors of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, methane and other harmful emissions and gases.
1 kg of the preparation contains:
- chlorantoin – 0.2 %;
- calcium sulfate – 87.9 %;
- copper sulfate – 0.2 %;
- zinc sulfate – 0.5 %;
- ferrous sulfate – 1.0 %;
- kaolin – 10.0 %;
- flavoring – 0.2 %.
Powder of light gray color with an odor of pine or freshly cut grass.
Usage and Dosage
Klinosan® is used in the presence of animals and is absolutely safe for both people and animals, as the preparation contains mineral
absorbents, compounds of copper, iron, zinc, silicon, calcium and hypoallergenic essential oils. Klinosan® not only removes the unpleasant odor, but also destroys it on a molecular level and aromatizes the room. This preparation is used for disinfection and sanitary processing of livestock buildings, poultry houses, culling facilities, vehicles used for transportation of animals and poultry, meat and meat foods. Disinfection is performed after the surfaces have been thoroughly sanitized.
Klinosan® is applied by uniform sprinkling of disinfectant object surface at the rate of 50-100 g/m². Before bringing animals into the premises the preparation is applied in a dose of 100 g/m² for 2-3 days and after that once a week in a dose of 50 g/m² in the presence of animals. In livestock buildings with deep litter before its restoration application of the preparation at a maximum dose – 100 g/m² once a week is recommended.
Vehicles used for transportation of animals, meat, meat foods are treated at a dose of 50 g/m² before transportation, the exposure is 2 hours.
Precautions for use
All manipulations with the preparation should be carried out in personal protective equipment (respirators, rubber gloves, goggles, protective clothing). In case of eye or skin irritation, the affected area should be washed out with plenty of warm water.
The preparation is harmless to the environment and has no withdrawal period.
Store in the original package at 0 °С to 25°C in a dry place protected from light.
